Frequently Asked Questions
What is an irrigation brigade tape?
It is a strip-shaped tube with a small thickness made of polyethylene. The tip tape has a dripper with a certain and defined irrigation along its entire length and is usually used for row crops such as tomatoes, corn, etc. The brigade is divided into the following three general types:
1. Seam type or side stitching
2: new type with plaque or external
3: Middle seam or interstitch tape
One of the important advantages of the drip tape is the increase in the cultivated area. For example, a person who has cultivated 5 hectares of corn annually with his agricultural water quota can plant and irrigate 17 hectares of corn annually if he uses a drip irrigation plan and buys tape.
What is the difference between placket and seam tape?
The nameplate tape has a dropper and at specific intervals of 10-20-30 cm there are plates (droppers). The plate-type tape has more uniformity in irrigation, which keeps the soil moisture near the plant. With the help of the placard tape, the plant grows faster; Because it prevents plant suffocation and increases efficiency in the agricultural industry by reducing irrigation stress.
The seamed side irrigation tape has a zigzag-shaped and zipper-like path, which breaks the water pressure, causing the water drops to reach the plant roots from the seams. In agriculture, they mostly use sewing tape for watering plants, and this product is made in different thicknesses and diameters.
The most important reason for the application of the sewing side tape is the fair distribution of water in the drip irrigation method. Also, due to the fact that the water pressure in the seam tape is automatically adjusted, these irrigation tapes also perform well in the condition of water pressure drop.
How is the amount of water used in drip irrigation different from traditional irrigation?
Today, most agricultural lands are irrigated by surface irrigation. In surface irrigation, if the length of the furrows is considered to be 200, for every 100 hectares, about 5000 meters of air is needed.
Part of the water in the streams is lost due to water infiltration in the soil. Some of it evaporates during the day. In some cases, when the fertilizer is dissolved in water and delivered to the plant, due to the waste of water, the fertilizer is also lost.
Finally, after finishing the irrigation, all the water in the streams is lost and wasted, leaving a muddy barrier that makes access to the farm difficult.
